Dr. Alwani has been in private practice for more than 30 years. He is four time certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Alwani is the recipient of multiple educational awards by the American Academy of Pediatrics, The American Medical Association, The Harvard Medical University, and the recipient of the American Top Pediatricia
Dr. Alwani has been in private practice for more than 30 years. He is four time certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Alwani is the recipient of multiple educational awards by the American Academy of Pediatrics, The American Medical Association, The Harvard Medical University, and the recipient of the American Top Pediatrician award by the Consumer Research Institute of America. He is a lifetime member of the Strasemore "Who is Who", in the medical profession. He has participated in multiple publications, magazines, and television programs about pediatrics and children health. Dr. Alwani is a graduate of the New York State University Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. He is also an active member of the Children’s Hospital of Brooklyn Downstate Medical Center, Lutheran NYU hospital Langone, and Brooklyn Hospital. He is a clinical instructor at the pediatric department of the University Hospital of Brooklyn Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Alwani is also an active member of the preceptorship program for the SUNY Downstate College of Medicine.
